supposed summit

Figures of unrest

bent shapeliness, form trees

standing to their similarities

or differences only, these dendrites

Formulate

the surface of something

the grit of a patterning

pith, years of density

or pressured sunken

Rises: beached logs

soaked through. Sediment grown in waves

lengthy shelving dropped to pressure

and roots grown through

Other ends

of the Earth. Holes dug so deep they reach

the other end of

the world

Here, impossible reach. The top of a mountain
